A couple of years ago, when I was still running live events, I decided to livestream one of them people from all over the world could attend.

One attendee was a young man who seemed to be paying full, conscious attention all the way through the event. Just before we went to break, he raised his hand to share a thing or two about how he had been impacted by the Psychological Reality I teach.

He said he was calling in from Idaho.

Which was kind of weird, because I’ve never been there, and don’t even know anyone who knows anyone there. But boy, did he have quite the story for us…

It turns out, a couple years earlier, he somehow came across the ‘Quran For Busy People’ podcast. There was something he heard in one of the early episodes that had a huge impact on him. It quieted his mind and literally, in a single moment, changed his entire life.

It turns out he was recovering from a divorce and heartbreak that came about due to his challenges with alcoholism and substance abuse. He knew he needed to make a change, but it wasn’t until he heard something in one of those episodes that he woke up to the fact that all feelings come from thought in the moment… and that he no longer needed to fear his feelings or avoid them (using those substances) any more.

He was so moved that he naturally binged on all the episodes (including the full Ramadan Transformation series I recorded back in 2016). He started making positive changes, and he started falling in love with the simple, beautiful wisdom of the Quran, catalysed by the powerful truth of the Psychological “Inside-Out” Reality.

Upon listening, he decided to become Muslim.

Soon afterwards, he was thrilled to discover that I had published a book called, “Inside the Soul of Islam” which summarised, re-enforced and built upon everything he heard me share less ‘formally’ in the podcast.

Naturally, he read it several times, re-affirming his new-found faith. In fact, he actually bought a dozen copies so he had spares to give to his friends and family, insisting to them: “You’ve gotta read this book!”

He told us, “I’m not sure if all 11 of my friends and family read it… But I know one brother certainly did. Because I saw him take shahada in our local mosque a few days later.”

Needless to say, we ran out of copies of the book at my event that day. I’m not sure how many people have become Muslim because of the book, and I’m not sure how many lives have been saved and changed by the personal development methodology it teaches.

What I do know is that if you want to renew, re-energise and uplift your own connection with Allah the Most Loving Guide, in a way that positively transforms your life, like it did to those young men from Idaho, then this book will probably be worth a read…
